Challenge
A private clinic network needed a patient portal with appointment scheduling, medical record history and SMS reminders — but no third-party hosting could meet their data residency requirements.
Solution
Built a Livewire-driven portal with real-time notifications, role-separated views for patients / doctors / admins, encrypted PostgreSQL columns for sensitive fields, signed AWS S3 URLs for medical scans and Twilio for SMS confirmations. Passed an external GDPR audit on the first pass.
